fudgester SG My results (name and matriculation number pixellated out, of course): My point average has dropped slightly (it was 4.13 out of 5 last semester), but I'm not complaining. I honestly expected it to be worse.
av98m SG I managed to steal some food from other colleagues' cubicles just in time *sips strong coffee*
the Bear SG damn, if i had results like the coyote's i'd be hitting the pubs getting blind drunk in wild celebration well done dude.. when you're rich and famous, don't forget us
the Bear SG hey.. what if you were like the guy chasing tare? you could not eat meat? what will you do?
fudgester SG Well, I'm a bit pissed off at Computational Finance. The lecturer was extremely vague in her language in the first test, which cost quite a number of us ten marks for nothing. And she insisted that her language was correct even after we protested to her. So for the second test, I made sure to harass the invigilators every time there was even a hint of ambiguous language in the paper. And sure enough, there was one question which the invigilator agreed (after some vacillation) was poorly-worded... you should have heard the curses among the candidates when the invigilator announced the clarification. If it wasn't for her ambiguity I would have been assured of at least a B+. In the end-of-semester survey I pulled no punches when it came to commenting on her teaching. It won't affect my marks at all (they release the survey to the lecturers only AFTER the results are released), but I feel so much better just letting it all go.
Rhonda SG You do know, don't you, that there are really just two ECG's you can use the defib on and anything other than those and you're just really burning the bugger?
Rhonda SG I have an American friend who used to be a Singaporean, and she developed a nasty wheat intolerance and gluten intolerance late in life, which means that now, she cannot touch anything with rice, wheat, or any other grains in them! No flour, no bread, no rice, no noodles!! Torture, sheer torture!!
the Bear SG what makes you think he wasn't trying to burn av? or maybe, like you say, he's trying to knock av out for some buggery (do look up the meanings of words you use )
fudgester SG *me lubs beard* I'm trained to use the automated external defibrillator... I learnt it just days before I ORD-ed. So... I know nuts about manual defibrillators except for switching it on and testing it.
the Bear SG not much of a loss.. i'd be on a meat diet then or like in yesterday's rag the new paper, eat mealworms.. they're surprisingly tasty
